Question 1 of 4
If you would like a free mini-lesson with Michelle, you'll need to record a piece of music (or portion of a piece) that you are working on and send her the video and a copy of your music 24 hours before your masterclass. This should be between 1 - 5 minutes in length. At the masterclass, Michelle will review your video with you, and then work with you to improve both your clarinet skills and the music that you are presenting. Have your clarinet out to try some new skills during your lesson. You'll be sent some guidelines on how to optimize your audio settings within Zoom and you'll want to set up where you have good lighting on you and your clarinet. Remember, this is not a recital! Recording a piece that illustrates what you find challenging will allow Michelle the chance to give you tools that will help you (and the other clarinetists who are watching) improve more quickly. Please indicate which session(s) fit your schedule for a mini-lesson in our masterclass sessions. There will be three players and many active observers in each session. You can find out what time this is for you by going to www.timeanddate.com and converting from Vancouver time.
