Join me for an inspiring clarinet event that will be rewarding musically and socially. Here are some of the highlights ofthe Xacobeo Clarinet Festival:
- Masterclasses with Michelle, and some of the other world-class faculty, including Jose Franch-Ballester and David Griffiths.
- Daily concerts
- Clarinet Choir participation for all-levels of players
- Interactive workshops with Michelle on a variety of clarinet topics
- Private lessons with Michelle and/or other faculty members
- A clarinet gear display/tryout room with Yamaha, Selmer, Backun, Patricola and other clarinet makers
- Immersion in the rich culture of Galicia in Lalin. Incorporated into the festival will be story tellers, puppets, local musicians.
- The food! Lalin is known for the amazing food, and local brewers and restaurants are bringing the food right to the festival site
- Clarinet Socializing! Geek out with clarinetists from all over the world. Let's have fun together!
- Approximate cost (Depending upon enrolment - € 200 for a weekend/3 days, € 300 for all 10 days - private lesson with a faculty member likely about € 100.)
- There is very low-cost transportation within Europe. The closest airport is Santiago.
